Modern educational landscapes are increasingly characterized by high
academic pressure, competitive environments, and psychosocial stressors that
impede student well-being and academic performance. While pedagogical methods
traditionally focus on cognitive outcomes, contemporary educational philosophy
demands a paradigm shift toward holistic learner development. This research paper
examines the critical intersection of educational leadership and administrative
efficiency in mitigating student stress. By utilizing Luther Gulick’s classic
POSDCORB framework—Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing,
Coordinating, Reporting, and Budgeting—this study provides a structured
blueprint for educational leaders to systematically design, execute, and sustain
institutional stress management programs. The paper argues that emotional and
psychological well-being must not be treated as peripheral extracurricular activities
but should be structurally integrated into the core administrative machinery of
educational institutions.
